International Buyers Can Purchase Property in Brazil: How does it work | International buyers are generally permitted to purchase property in Brazil, including houses, flats, and urban land. However, there are restrictions on rural properties, areas near borders, coastal or strategic zones, and environmentally protected areas, where special authorisations or prohibitions may apply. Brazilian law does not require an international buyer to reside in the country for the purchase of urban property, and the acquisition process is largely the same for both residents and non-residents. ️ An international buyer does not need to be physically present in Brazil to complete the transaction. The process can be carried out by proxy. Optionally, if the buyer is willing to live in Brazil and following the criteria, it is possible to apply for real estate investor visa. With the appropriate documentation, including a valid tax number and identification documents, international buyers abroad can safely acquire urban property and register ownership in their name in Brazil. Each case is unique, consult a qualified immigration lawyer. Links and the exclusive Telegram group are in the bio. Engage: this post. Follow for further information
